I wanted the most inexpensive gasolene powered grass trimmer readily available. I have had related Homelite trimmers ahead of and they all have the very same disadvantages.1. The bump system to reel out the cutting cord is a disaster. I nearly generally have to do it by hand right after dismantling the cord holder. I have an understanding of the Stihl models have a considerably much better process. Nevertheless, please note that the bolt that holds the spool has a LEFT hand thread: this stops it coming undone when in operation. Wish I had remembered that!two. These types of trimmer are useless in tall grass which, when cut, wraps about the shaft and needs tiresome hand cleaning.Now to this model. It was reconditioned and in great condition when it arrived. Apart from getting marked "RECON' it was like new. The engine worked well and the straight shaft saves me from stooping down to cut the grass as I am tall. In summary I got what I wanted at the appropriate price tag.

shipped in 72 hours. Looks brand new except for recon stamp. Installed manage and guard, it came with line installed, followed starting instructions. It was good, worked well, lite ,very easy get started too. I like that line stops turning at idle , easyer to get started and I believe a bit safer. Well worth $ 72.00 so far. Nicely need to now add to evaluation. Amazing machine ... except ... the tap n go is terrible. directions to load not clear. , line breaks, tangles , have to keep taking it apart. I will likely take the old one off my weedeater brand and use on this, you just carry precut line and slide in as needed. Otherwise excellent
