I have a relatively small yard (live in a townhouse) and did not want to get a gas-powered trimmer.I had a minor snag as the AC charging adapter wasn't in the box (I purchased this from amazon, not Buckeye). Known as Black Decker and had a new one particular in a few days.The rotating head operates perfectly for obtaining the vertical trimming like along the sidewalk. Weight and balance feel beneficial, not as well unwieldy, not also light. Battery life is adequate that I can get my front and back yard done off a single charge unless I wait also long amongst trimming - three weeks or so.Bottom line: Super fantastic for compact yards. We bought this product through amazon.com from buckeye tool provide. When we received it, the battery life would not final lengthy adequate to full our yard, which approx. 1/two acre. We contacted the business and was offered an upgraded model that was 18 volt rather than 12 volt with two batteries and they even took care of the return shipping of this item listed above. I don't know that I would advocate the item, possibly if you have a tiny yard it would be fine, but i would suggest the firm. thanks for you buyer service buckeye.
